Jerry W. Turner's Obituary
Jerry W. Turner, 83, of Germantown, passed away peacefully at his home on February 11, 2015. Mr. Turner was retired from Oscar Mayer and a charter member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Cordova. He served in both the Navy and the Army. Designing stained glass items, was a favorite hobby. Jerry and his wife of 66 years, Wilma, enjoyed traveling the world. He is also survived by two daughters, Shelia Newport and Sandra Stevens, a son, Steve Turner, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 14, at Memorial Park Funeral Home with a private family entombment in the Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Covenant United Methodist Church.
