Jerry Wayne Stewart's Obituary
Jerry Wayne Stewart, 74 of Rossville, Tennessee, passed away on June 23, 2026, and entered into the glory of the Lord.
Born on July 8, 1951, in Columbia, Missouri. Jerry was the son of Curtis and Ruth (Bell) Stewart. He was a brother to Larry and identical twin to Gary. Throughout life, he was known for being a smart, hardworking and driven man.
Jerry graduated from Hickman High School and continued his education at University of Missouri. He devoted many years to his career in finance as a bank examiner working in Tennessee and Washington D.C. with the Office of Thrift Supervision. Jerry was married to Lindsey Jo Allen, the love of his life, for over 52 years. Outside of work, he found joy in golfing, playing drums and singing. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing especially near the ocean or playing a new golf course. He had fun on his motorcycles and was quite the dog lover, especially his labs, Biscuit and Carly. Jerry will be remembered for his sense of humor, funny stories, his laugh and his love of music, singing and dancing! He came to salvation in Jesus Christ and his family is assured he is healed and whole in heaven with his Savior.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Morgan Stewart Harrington and son, Tyler Stewart. Also, his son-in-law Jerry and grandchildren, Parker, Davis and Cole. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lindsey.
