Jerry Nixon Beach's Obituary
Jerry Nixon Beach, age 80 of Arlington, TN was carried by angels to her forever home on August 4, 2022, with her husband, Frank Beach, and her family by her side.
Jerry was born on August 1, 1942, the daughter of Roy Clifford Nixon, Sr. and Lena Elizabeth Strunk.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Roy Clifford Nixon, Jr (Skip) and Dennis Lee Nixon, Sr.
Jerry is survived by her husband of 23 years Frank Beach; sons Jim Harrison and his wife Lisa, John Harrison and his wife Justis, Scotty Beach and his wife Janice, Steve Beach and his wife Myla, and her daughter Suzanne Beaudry; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and sisters Dolores (Chick) McMullen and Norma Harrison.
Jerry was a stay-at-home mom until her children were school age and then she worked as a Teacher at Hammons Hills Baptist School. She was a Real Estate Agent for Century 21-The Massey Company, she worked admissions at St. Francis Hospital on Park Ave in Memphis, and then landed a job with The Shelby County Engineering Department from which she retired.
Throughout her life she was a wonderful influence on all she met.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 10 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. all in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
