He was such an amazing soul. I loved to play rock paper scissors and talk to him while lifeguarding.
We would see him very often at the YMCA. He was someone I would look forward to seeing him everyday and talk to. I would always grab his blue pool noodle and weights and have them ready at his lane once he comes in. I will always treasure those moments with him especially playing rock paper scissors! May he rest in peace.
As a lifeguard at the YMCA, Jerry would always brighten my day whenever I saw him. He was kind and funny; he would always make conversation and crack jokes with me and the other lifeguards. He will be missed by all of us. I extend my thoughts and prayers to his family.
