Jennifer Marie Saliba's Obituary
Jennifer Marie Saliba, age 73, of Memphis, TN, passed away on April 2nd, 2026, peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Born on July 21st, 1952 in Atlanta, GA, Jenny was the daughter of Dr. Norman Rudolph Saliba of Ozark, AL and Helen Marie Ward of Eufaula, AL. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, compassion, and friendliness. She will be remembered for her lighthearted spirit and the ability to make people smile.
Jenny Studied at University of Central Arkansas and earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Art Education with a minor in English Language Arts. She devoted many decades to teaching at various schools, sharing her love of art and her passion for language precision. Outside of work, she found joy in spending as much time as she could with her family. She was a very devoted GiGi (grandmother) to her two granddaughters and grandson. Jenny could often be found with her kids, her siblings, and her nieces and nephews. She had a very close bond with her sister who was her best friend and confidant. Her kind heart extended beyond her family to all creatures great and small, especially her loyal dog companions who rarely left her side.
She is survived by her son Kelsey Maynard, his wife Blair and their son Henry, her daughter Stephanie Jacobsen, her husband Donald, and their daughters Hazel and Holly, her siblings Steve Saliba, David (Lorrin) Saliba, Chip Saliba, and Mari Ann (Rick) Mokry, and her many, many nieces and nephews. Jenny was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Norman Saliba, Helen Saliba, and her sister Dianne Alsworth.
A memorial service and interment will be held on April 8th at 11:00 AM in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation at 10:00 AM.
