Jen Joyner Perry's Obituary
Jeanette Joyner Perry, 96, of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Germantown, TN passed away peacefully on April 25, 2015. Jen, along with her twin sister Annette, was born on August 28, 1918 in West Blockton, AL to Oscar and Anne Sterrett. Jen was a graduate of Memphis State College and enjoyed a long career as a professional golfer. More recently she enjoyed playing bridge and watching her Orlando Magic basketball games. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven. Surviving are her son, Charles Moss of Gulfport, MS, her grandson Franklin Moss of Pikeville, TN and niece, Donna Kaluzniak of Jacksonville Beach, FL. Jen was preceded in death by her parents, by her sisters Healon Vail and Annette Mathers, and by her husband, William Perry. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2015 with a graveside service to follow at 2:30, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Good Shepherd Hospice of Auburndale, Florida.
