Jeffrey Lynn Gaston's Obituary
Jeffrey Lynn Gaston, 65, passed away at home on May 15, 2023, in Millington, Tennessee. Jeff was born on July 7, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas to Mary Alice and Donald Ray Gaston and spent his life in Kansas, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. A multi-skilled artist, Jeff attended Memphis State University where he majored in art and inherited his love for photography from his grandfather Ray Henry Gaston. For the duration of his life, Jeff was a practiced musician with a passion for all things relating to the guitar, and he spent his recent years studying classical guitar. Jeff also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and duck hunting. For work, Jeff spent time as a salesman, and his final job in life was being a devoted primary caregiver for his mother. Jeff attended St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Millington.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Mary Alice Gaston of Millington, Tennessee, his daughter, Emilia Gaston of Denton, Texas, his sister, Julia Perkins (Barry), niece Sarah Carmack (Robbie), and nephews Tyler and William Carmack. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Ray Gaston, grandparents Ray Henry and Arrie Bell Gaston, and grandparents Clifton and Elizabeth Klenk.
