Jeffie "Jennie" Austin's Obituary
Jeffie “Jennie” Austin, of Arlington, TN, passed away on January 17, 2015. She lived a long and healthy life and full of energy. Mrs. Austin was an active member of Cherokee Baptist Church, a former member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. She loved working and enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Austin was a charter member of the Eastern Star No. 62, Sears Retiree Club, and a member of the Bowling Assoc. for many years.Mrs. Austin retired from Sears after 39 years and worked for the old Beverly Hills Baptist Church where she was the financial and Sunday school secretary for over 18 years. After the church moved she worked for Dr. Cary Finn as an office assistant for eight years and finally retired March of 2011.Mrs. Austin is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gilbert Austin, a son, Steven Austin, two daughters, Patty Sue Randolph Starkey and Martha Langston (Donnie), six grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, James “Randy” Randolph, her parents Jeff and Florence Fuller, four brothers, and seven sisters.The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m., until the service at 1 p.m., January 19, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
