Jeff Tarver, 64, of Memphis, TN, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026.
Born in Memphis, TN, Jeff was a devoted family man, a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, and loyal friend. He built his life around the ones he loved most. His family was his greatest pride and joy. His love was protective, steady, and unconditional.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and working hard to provide for his family. Jeff’s quiet dedication shaped not only his life, but of everyone who looked up to him.
Outside work, he embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed motorcycles. Jeff had a unique fascination with snakes, appreciating their beauty and mystery. Music was close to his heart, filling his home, and quiet moments.
Jeff was a dedicated Miami Dolphins fan, standing by their side through every victory and defeat, never losing faith and always looking forward to the next season.
Those who knew him will remember his strength, his loyalty, and the way he showed love.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Tarver; grandparents, Mary Frances Tarver, Vardeman Stanford Tarver, Marie Roberts, and Will D. Roberts.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Debbie Tarver; mother, Glenda Tarver (Don); children, Nicole Spence (Kristin), Jessica Tarver, Christina Tarver Perkins (Natalie), Courtney Tarver Ketchum (Jesse), son-in-law, John Jones; grandchildren, Haven Perkins, BriLee Miller-Tarver (Ms. B), Austin Spence, Delilah Spence, Paisley Jones, Stormi Jones, Odin Ketchum, Wyatt Ketchum, Nora Ketchum, and soon-to-be, baby girl Ketchum.
Visitation for Mr. Tarver will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00am in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin following visitation at 11:00 AM. A committal service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, following services.
