Jeanne Tucker's Obituary
Jeanne L. Tucker Memphis, TNJeanne L. Tucker, 89, originally from Chicago, IL, passed away October 11, 2018 while being cared for at Methodist Hospice Residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Tucker, her parents and three siblings. True to her character of being selfless and always concerned for others, Jeanne made the decision years ago to make a whole-body donation to Genesis/MERI for medical research and teaching. She is survived by her children, Jack Tucker (Paula) of Eads, TN, Cindy Trimble (Tom) of Holiday, FL and Scott (Janet) of Collierville, TN. In addition, she leaves behind a niece, Sue Valecka (Bud) Wheaton, IL and nephews, Richard Caspari (Bonnie) of Colorado Springs, CO and Kenneth Caspari (Mary) of Dallas, TX. Known as Granny, she has five grandchildren – Lauren (Tim), Samantha (Dan), Aubrey (Jennie), Alyssa (Stephen) and Nash (Lauren). Her legacy also includes six great-grandchildren with a seventh on the way. A memorial service will be held October 27, 5 p.m. at the Collierville United Methodist Church-Collierville Town Square. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Published in The Commercial Appeal on Oct. 17, 2018
