Jeanne Goltman Ford's Obituary
Jeanne Goltman Ford, 83, died at her Memphis residence Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Mrs. Ford was a member of Temple Israel. She was a devoted wife and mother. Born in Memphis, she moved to Washington D.C. where she lived for 25 years before moving back to Memphis. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton Q. Ford, and her two sons, Michael and Jeffrey, and her twin sister, Peggy Goltman Sternberger. In memory of their 2 sons & her late father, Dr. Alfred M. Goltman, Mr. & Mrs. Ford established the Ford-Goltman Clinical Heart Research Center at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her niece, Pege Vaughan, and her nephew Alfred Sternberger, 2 great-nieces, and 2 great-nephews.Funeral Services will be Friday, January 9, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Temple Israel.
