Jeanette Platt's Obituary
Jeanette Ciulla Platt, 88, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm E. Platt, Sr., her parents, Frank and Lucy Ciulla and her beloved brother, Charles Ciulla. She is survived by her devoted sons, Franklin, Malcolm, Jr, Michael and Patrich Platt; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Sara) Platt, Justin Platt, Kristina Platt (David) Fargo, Jonathan Platt, and Ryan Platt; her great-grandchildren, Christian and Brinley Platt, Dawson and Evan Fargo; her sisters, Josephine Ciulla Sherrill, Christine Ciulla (Carl) Collins and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Platt was employed for many years at Lazarov Surplus. She had traveled extensively during her husband’s military career. She was a lifelong Catholic and in faith is now raised up to her Lord on Eagles Wings. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, January 23, at Catholic Church of the Nativity. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
