Jean Roe's Obituary
JEAN ROE, 93, went to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and also faithfully served the Lord in other local churches. She was born in Nogales, AZ on October 17, 1919 and later moved to Memphis, where she graduated from Central High School with honors. Jean is survived by her children, Sherry Roe Bratcher (Ray), Andrew Roe (Linda), Phyllis Roe Enzor (Dan), and David Roe (Jeanne); nine grand-children, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She leaves two sisters, Era Raney and Anita Hunter. Preceding her in death were her husband of 56 years, Charles Houston Roe, Jr., and and infant child, Charles H. Roe III. Jean lived her life in service to others showing the gift of mercy. All who knew her were touched by her sweet, loving spirit. Heaven’s gain is truly our loss.
