J.C. Willis' Obituary
J.C. Willis, born September 4, 1930, went to be with the Lord this past Thursday evening, November 12, 2015, at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Charlsie Warner Willis, son, Charles Brady Willis, and granddaughter, Kira Nichelle Willis. J.C. was a homebuilder and developer for over 50 years, having built hundreds of homes in the Greater Memphis area. He was an avid general aviation pilot who achieved every license short of Instructor. He was the founding minister and a deacon of the church formerly known as Whitehaven Assembly of God, and served as a deacon at Christian Heritage Church. Also, for several years, J. C. sung 1st tenor in the Songfellows gospel quartet.The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 15 from 1:00-2:00 with the service to immediately follow. All services will be held at Memorial Park.
