My heart goes out to the family and you're in my prayers. I saw Jay on many occasions when he would visit my niece and he brought his wonderful smile with him. May all of his memories bring you peace during this time as he will never be forgotten. Love Barbara Patton
Javante was a gift to the Deaf Drama Club, and no one could replace his infectious smile and his sincerity in interpreting any and all the roles he had in the club's shows. Many of the club members were present at the visitation and some were even pallbearers. This really touched me, as I know Jay--once more--would be showing a big, heavenly smile at his mothers seeing to it that Jay's friends would also have a part in saying we thank you and are grateful to share in your life here and your life going forward. Love you and Thank you!

Jay's smile made my heart happy. Through everything he went through, he always had that smile. I am so thankful to have known him and he helped me see this world in a new way.
