Janie Laverne Rush's Obituary
Janie Laverne Rush, 73, passed away March 28, 2016. She was born November 12, 1942 in Memphis, TN to Bessie and William Caviness. She was formerly employed at Person’s Big Star, where she reportedly made the best hamburgers. She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Rush (Rhonda), Jerry Rush, Tommy Rush, Jimmy Rush (Melisa), and Billy Rush (Christina); brother, Frank Caviness (Edith); 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 31 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
