Janice Sue Jacobs' Obituary
Janice Sue Jacobs, 81, passed away December 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elwood “Dale” Kimery, Daniel “Jake” Jacobs and William “Bill” Tippett and brothers, Sonny Hopkins and Randy Hopkins. Janice is survived by her daughter, Kellie Reaves and her husband, Wade; son, Kevin Kimery and his wife Sherri; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Rachel and Margaret Kimery; brother, Mitchell Hopkins and sister, Brenda Ramsey. Janice was accomplished in ceramics, painting and was an amazing cook. She lived her life to the fullest and was proud of family and friends and would assist anyone in need of a loving touch. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church where enjoyed the fellowship and comradery. Janice spent over 20 years in the travel industry ultimately owning her own travel agency, Travel by JJ, in Germantown, TN. Her early professional early career started at Union Planters and she also enjoyed many years at the Millington Naval Base working in disbursements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until her memorial service begins at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 17 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery with a reception to immediately follow.
