Vara Janice Gray 96, of Germantown, passed away December 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Gray; 1 son, Charles Steven Gray; and 1 great-grandchild, Jeremy Payne. Mrs. Gray is survived by 1 son, David B. (Charlotte) Gray of Kansas City, MO; 3 grandchildren, Cathleen (Matt) Henry, Charles Steven (Teri) Gray, and Tracie (Chris) Rathbun of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm followed by funeral services Saturday, December 16 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
