Janet Wall Ventimiglia's Obituary
Janet Wall Ventimiglia, 73, passed away April 6, 2020. She was born February 2, 1947 in Huntsville, AL to the late Bruce and Martha Spence Wall. Mrs. Ventimiglia was retired from the State of Tennessee, where she served in many capacities. Her most proud was her time spent as the Director of a group home for wayward boys. She was a member of the American Kennel Club and enjoyed showing standard poodles at various dog shows. Mrs. Ventimiglia was also a genealogy enthusiast. She began her college studies at Millsaps College and earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Memphis. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Charles Ventimiglia; daughter, Courtney Spring (Jeffrey); step-son, Joseph Byron Ventimiglia (Linda Dedman); sister-in-law, Sararose Carpenter; and step-granddaughters, Sarah and Sophie Ventimiglia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 24th at St. Peters Cemetery in Oxford, MS.
