Janet Allsopp's Obituary
Janet Lee Tutor Allsopp, age 56, of Germantown, TN, passed away December 22, 2018. She was born August 6, 1962 at St. Joseph Hospital, Memphis, TN. Janet graduated from Germantown High School in 1980 and served as a Memphis Police Officer from July 1984 until June 1996. She attended Memphis State University. She was a life-long member of Germantown Baptist Church. Janet is survived by her husband, William Edwin “Bill” Allsopp; son, William Bennett “Ben” Allsopp; daughter, Julie Elizabeth Allsopp; sister, Susan I. Tutor Smith; and brother, David M. Tutor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille McDaniel Tutor and Davis Martel Tutor. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Friday, December 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 12:30 p.m., also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
