I met Jane probably in 1985 or so when I went to work at Raleigh Egypt HS in the cafeteria. I followed her when she opened Cordova elementary and stayed another 8 years. By that time she wasn’t just my boss but a very dear friend! She taught me quite a lot about the importance of family and to have an outstanding work ethic. She was truly a blessing in my life and I will always be happy for that time.

Oh, so many memories... the most recent one was where Jane and I spoke a few months ago and we laughed and shared how we thought the same way on issues. Jane also came to me in my dream the other night and she was so happy and so at peace. And last Christmas, Kate (my daughter) called Jane and got her pecan pie recipe, which my dad always loved... And every Christmas Kate can, she will bake Jane's pecan pie. We will always think of Jane. Jane was such an inspiration; her strength, her heart, her soul. I wish we could be there on Monday. We sent flowers that I think Jane would've loved, will love.. as I know Jane will be there in spirit and forever in our hearts.xoxo Jill, Jeff and Kate
