Jane St. Clair McGoldrick's Obituary
Jane St. Clair McGoldrick, 85 of Bartlett, went to be with the Lord, September 10, 2024, at St. Frances Hospital Bartlett.
Although born in Athens, TN., she spent most of her childhood in beautiful West Virginia. Her career spanned over 40 years in teaching the 2nd grade primarily with the Memphis City School System at Old Brownsville Rd. Elementary. Her claims to fame and passions include: making more than 2,000 loaves of pumpkin bread for her friends (yummy) over the years, avid hummingbird ‘whisperer’, lifetime of choral singing, meticulous genealogy researcher, and proud DAR member. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Bartlett, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband William John McGoldrick in 2023 and is survived by her sons, Keith McGoldrick, Shawn McGoldrick, daughter-in-law, L. Allene McGoldrick; two grandsons; granddaughter-in-law, five great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; brother John T. St. Clair; nieces Laura Kneibert, Karen Lambert; nephew Stephen St. Clair; three great-nieces; and five great-nephews.
Visitation with the family will be at Grace Presbyterian Church in Bartlett on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM.
