Jane H. Hall's Obituary
Jane H. Hall died peacefully on November 1, 2013 at Germantown Methodist Hospital from complications arising from pulmonary ailments. Jane was born on May 4, 1935 in Cahokia, Illinois. She was raised there by her loving mother, Dorothy K Patrick and her grandparents, Alan and Mary Ethel Lane. Jane married the love of her life, Louis M. Hall, III, in 1962. They had been married for almost 50 years when he died last year at the age of 83. Jane and Lou had three children, Chris (Watty) Hall, Louie (Tara) Hall and Mary Jane (Danny) Nailen, whom they loved deeply, along with their five grandchildren. Jane worked in the fashion industry, first as a model and then as a boutique manager, for several decades. Jane had many close friends, both from her childhood and from the fifty years she lived in Memphis. Her family and her friends will miss her very much and feel blessed to have had her in their lives. Her family appreciates the outstanding care that Jane received from the West Cancer Clinic (especially Dr. Kurt W. Tauer), from Belmont Village and from Germantown Methodist Hospital. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 4, with a service and burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
