Jane Burke's Obituary
Jane A Burke, 62, of Memphis, TN passed away January 13, 2012. A wonderful wife and devoted mother, Jane was also a Licensed Clinical Therapist with degrees from the University of Memphis and the University of Tennessee. She spent many years treating those with alcohol and drug addiction. Jane is survived by her husband of 40 years, Mark A. Burke; their daughter, Dr. Kimberly Vera; son, Mark Burke, Jr.; son in law, Santiago Vera; and grandsons, Leo and Samuel Vera. Jane will always be remembered for her loving and compassionate nature and her deep love for her husband, children and grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 and funeral services will be 1p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 with burial immediately following, all at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
