Jane Elizabeth Bringle's Obituary
Jane Elizabeth Bringle, 87, life-long resident of Memphis and loving wife, mother and grandmother, died January 6, 2015.She was a devoted member for more than 45 years at Leawood Baptist Church and later at Bellevue Baptist Church, as well as an active class member in the Philathea Sunday School. Jane, the widow of Sanford “Dee” Bringle (2003), leaves three children, Patsy Pennington of Amelia Island, FL, Sandy Schuessler of Carpentersville, IL, and Michael Bringle (Elizabeth) of Memphis, grand-daughters, Abigail and Hannah Bringle of Memphis.She was an avid supporter for the local basketball teams – the University of Memphis Tigers and the Memphis Grizzlies.She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. L. L. Alexander of Covington, TN, and her siblings: Dr. Warren Alexander, Lucian Alexander, Alfred Alexander, Louise Overall, Louise Brumley, and Claire Marshall, and son-in-laws: Mike Pennington and Mario Schuessler.Visitation will be held 12-1 p.m. and services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, January 9 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
