James T. Webb's Obituary
James Thaddaues “JT” Webb, 84, passed away September 12, 2010. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, September 15 and services will be at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. James served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, piloting a landing craft during the Omaha Beach landings of D-Day. He was a member of Leawood Baptist Church for over 50 years and served the Memphis community for over 36 years as a driver for the Memphis Area Transit Authority. James was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Lee; and brother, Hudson Webb. He is survived by his sons, James L. (Patricia) and Jerry W. (Charlene); grandchildren, Christopher, Wesley, Jason, Andrea, Laurie, Brent, and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Alexia, Megan, Emily, Nathan, and Zach; and longtime friend, Myrtis Daniel.
