James Calvin Watson's Obituary
James C. Watson, 63, of Memphis, passed away at his home Tuesday, September 22, 2009.He was lifelong musician playing with the groups “The Inn Crowd” and “Cloudy”, was an Army Vietnam veteran receiving the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and was an expert rifleman.James is survived by his wife of eight years, Shirley Watson; parents, Rupert and Lucy Watson of Amory, Ms; daughter, Deanna Sides; son, Sam Watson both of Bartlett; brother, Tom Watson of Knoxville, TN; step-daughter, Lisa Reynolds of Southaven, MS; step-sons, Randall Ervin of Middleton, TN., Michael Maxey of Bartlett; four grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.Visitation will be held Friday, September 25 from 6-8 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
