James Edward Sloyan's Obituary
James “Butch” Edward Sloyan, 71, passed away August 11, 2012 at his home in Memphis. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Gann and Michelle Sloyan, one son, James Sloyan, Jr., sister, Carol Amato, brother, Martin Sloyan and five grandchildren. James began his plumbing career at Pritchard Brothers and faithfully served Memphis City Schools for many years. In his retirement, he lived to serve his family. James attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the rosary at 11 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests any memorials are to be sent to St. Jude Hospital or Madonna Day School.
