James Seuss' Obituary
James Cole Seuss “Jim” passed away May 4,2018. Jim was born August 6, 1940 in Memphis. He graduated from White Station High School and attended the University of Memphis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Dodie Seuss. He is survived by his loving, caring, and devoted wife of 55 years, Linda; his sons James C. Seuss, Jr. of London, England, and David Seuss of Memphis; and granddaughters Haley and Heidi Seuss. Jim was a successful businessman in Memphis, working in the family business, where he was an early pioneer in the pressure sensitive label industry. He established and grew Color Craft Label Company to national recognition. He retired in 2015. Throughout his life, Jim enjoyed playing golf, fishing and skiing; spending time with his family in Naples, FL at his home there; and University of Memphis sports, particularly football and basketball. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Sunday, May 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Funeral service will be Monday, May 7, 1:00 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
