James Newsom's Obituary
James William Newsom, 88, passed away February 5, 2015. He is survived by his son, William “Bill” Newsom and his wife Sandy; two brothers, Glen Newsom and Aaron Newsom; three sisters, Marilyn Hill, Carolyn Wharton, and Jean Hardin; three grandchildren, Karen Tinkle and her husband Garrett, Kim Holmberg and her husband Kyle, and Kris Newsom; and two great grandchildren, Hadley Tinkle and Henry Holmberg. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, February 9, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will be held 4-6 p.m., Sunday, February 8 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
