James Raymond Murphy's Obituary
James Raymond Murphy, Jr., 85 of Memphis, passed away May 6, 2016. James was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church Highland, a retired FedEx employee, and served in the United States Navy after graduating from Memphis State College. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Helen Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Angela Murphy; children, Angela Murphy (John Spence) of Nashville, Jimmy Murphy of Whitefish, MT, Scott Murphy of Memphis, Daren Murphy of Memphis; sister, Jean Petrick of Memphis; two grandchildren, Murphy Spence and John Spence (Spence). The family will receive friends on Mon-day, May 9 from 5-7 pm with a rosary at 7 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 10 at St. Anne Catholic Church High-land, 706 S. Highland St. Memphis, TN 38111.
