James T Moore's Obituary
Jim Moore, 86, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Saturday morning in his home at The Village at Germantown on November 21, 2020.
He was born, raised, and educated in El Reno, Oklahoma.  He served in the United States Air Force, assigned to the Strategic Air Command.  He retired as an ExxonMobil Marketing Executive with work assignments in the United States, Asia, Central America, South America, and Europe.  He was a resident of Germantown since 1973.  He attended Grace Evangelical Church of Germantown and was active in the Community Church at The Village at Germantown.  Jim was active in the GYAA sports program and coached baseball, softball, and basketball for over 20 years.  He served as Chairman of the Germantown Parks and Recreations Committee.  He was also a fundraiser for the development of GPAC with Jim Siegfried.
Jim was the President of the ExxonMobil Annuitants Club of the Mid-South.  He was a member of the Lakeland Planning Commission, Lakeland East Shores Homeowners Association and Chairman of the Lakeland Design and Review Committee.  Jim was President of the Park Creek and Grove Park Homeowners Association.  He served as Chairman of the Resident’s Counsel for The Village at Germantown, Founder and President of The Village at Germantown Foundation, and was an active participant in the MIFA Meals on Wheels program.
Jim is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet and their three children; Jackie Moore Klindworth (husband, Fant) of Memphis, James T. Moore Jr. (wife, Debbie) of Chattanooga and Jamie Moore DeBerry (husband, David) of Germantown.  He has three grandchildren; Casey Jo Moore, Emory Ann Klindworth, and James T. Moore III (Jake).
