James L. Moffitt, Sr.'s Obituary
JAMES L. MOFFITT, SR., 85, passed away July 2, 2010 at his home. He was a veteran of WWII, serving as Paratrooper in the U.S. Army, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dolores Moffitt; daughter, Nancy Murdock and her husband, Mike of Memphis; son, James Moffitt, JR., and his wife, Linda of Memphis; sister, Wanda Papale of Sarasota, FL; brother, Gary Moffitt and his wife, Sherry of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, James Murdock, Kristen Murdock, Ashley Murdock, Melissa Jenkins, Marc Moffitt, Jenny Bell, Heather Novotny, Gary Moffitt, JR.; great-grandchildren, Paige Moffitt, Brady Moffitt, A.J. Jenkins, Tritsan Jenkins, Mason Novotny. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 6 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Fireside Chapel. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
