James McBride Jr.'s Obituary
James McBride born to Shirley M. McBride and the late James McBride Sr. in Memphis, TN. His journey began July 14, 1963. The Heavenly Father whispered softly in his ear and called him home to rest on April 14, 2024.
James accepted Christ as his savior and was a member of Prospect CME Church. James graduated Hillcrest High School (1981) and attended Lincoln University. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid sports fan. James lived life on his terms.
James was preceded in death by his father James McBride Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories: Mother – Shirley M. Parks McBride Henderson, Sister – Laura A. McBride Giles, and Brothers – Keith (Geree) B. McBride & Bryant T. McBride; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held Thursday May 2 from 5 – 7PM (Overton Room) Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Friday May 3 at Noon. Assemble in Overton Room for processional at 11:50AM.
