James G. Marler's Obituary
James G. Marler, 87, of Memphis, passed away after a long illness on September 4, 2011. He was a Navy Veteran. Mr. Marler was a field engineer for 37 years at Burroughs-Unisys. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Catherine Cox Marler, two daughters, Linda Green (John), Jane Youngson (Bill), two sisters, Mary Marler, Jean Carroll of Georgia, two brothers, Charles Marler of Florida, Earl Marler of Munford TN, and two granddaughters, Julie Youngson, and Jill Baumgardner (Chris). The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
