James Edgar Lynch, “Eddie”, age 61, of Millington, passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2026. He was born on September 2, 1964, in Memphis.
Eddie was known for his witty humor and kind heart. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1982 and went on to pursue a career in accounting with the local McDonald’s Corporation working until his retirement in 2017. Eddie was a member of Mullins United Methodist Church. He loved watching movies, spending time with his cat, Angel, and he especially loved hosting his extended family and friends at his home whenever possible. He was a humble man with a generous spirit.
Eddie was a loving son and is preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Lynch. He leaves behind his beloved cat, Angel. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends who cherished his sweet quiet spirit.
A celebration of Eddie's life will be held on February 15, 2026, at 1 PM at Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery with a public visitation at 12 PM and burial to follow at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ASPCA, a cause close to Eddie's heart.
Eddie's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
