So many wonderful memories with Grandma and Grandpa. From warm towels after a long day at the pool, poker nights, adventures in New York City and more, they will always hold a big place in my heart.I remember being little at their house in Memphis and wanting the new Britney Spears album, “Oops! I Did it Again.” Grandma told me if I helped her wash the dishes, she would take me to target to buy the CD. We listened to it together that night.I remember being with Grandma June at lunch, just us two. We sat trying to name all the seven dwarfs, and could only remember 6 of the 7. We laughed and laughed at how bad both our memories were, young and old.I remember Grandpa Jim playing “catch ball” in the pool with us every summer. He was always the first to participate!I remember Grandpa Jim telling me stories of life out in Colorado. Maybe this is where my passion to travel started. The stories and memories he told always took me to a different place I longed to be. He was such a great story-teller. Whether it be about history or his personal experiences, he always had something great to say. But more importantly, he always listened to my stories and experiences as well. They both never failed to tell me how proud they were of me and how much they loved me. I hope they know how much I love him, and how proud I am of them. They had an amazing life together, and made so many friends along the way. I miss them both so much. Everything I do will be to make them proud. They raised the most caring daughters, and taught me so much as grandparents. I’m so glad they are together again. I love you Grandma June and Grandpa Jim!!!!
