A life well-lived . Thank you Jimmie and Linda for being my early trusted adult friends. I remember when you lived in the house above the barn. Was it called rockay stables? I think near the old end of riverdale road. I remember a gruff man who owned it… Over the years we remained friends through different venues. So very sorry not to be able to say goodbye. I was new to Longreen's hunting in the early 70's: Jimmy was always encouraging, calming, and making jokes to help 'rookies' make it through the hunts. I remember when their land in Barton was bought and became home. I lost touch for a few decades but was re-introduced recently at Edgewood. I am so glad for that brief time!

Mr. Jimmy was a very respectful, wise, truthful, concerned, helpful friend of mine and everyone that had the pleasure to meet him. Mr. Jimmy always would speak with words of encourgement and always had a saying for every dreadful downfall of anyones bad day that would make you relize it is just walk in the park. Mr. Jimmy could make you laugh as you were trying to be sad. Mr. Jimmy definitely help myself thru a few of the toughest times of my life with his words of encourgement. Mr. Jimmy knew he was the luckest hippie to have ever ran across his wife Mrs. Linda. Mr. Jimmy will be very much missed by myself and everyone that ever had the pleasure to have met him.
