James "Jim" Leslie Thompson's Obituary
James "Jim" Leslie Thompson, 79, passed away on May 6, 2021. Mr. Thompson was a strong believer in Christ that was evident in his eclectic career path. He left an impression of Christ like behavior on all he met. Mr. Thompson had a great laugh, a tremendous sense of humor, and an infectious smile.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Jeanette Thompson in 2015. James and Jeanette were married for over 43 years. He is survived his only daughter, Stacy Briske (Brian), two grandchildren, Tyler Leigh Briske, Blake Briske, his mother, Neva Thompson of Scottsdale, AZ, and one sister, Jo Anne Atkins of Scottsdale, AZ,and Daniel Hill, whom he considered a friend and a son, three nieces, Jennifer Arnold (Chris) of Scottsdale, AZ, Stephanie Leibick (David) and their son, Spencer of Coto De Caza CA and one nephew.
The visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The graveside service will also be held on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
