James Jeffery's Obituary
JAMES CONOVER JEFFERY, 85, died Friday, September 3, 2010 at his Memphis residence. Mr. Jeffery was a member of Central Christian Church where he served as an elder and trustee. He was a WW2 Veteran, Rhodes Alumni and a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He retired as a Vice President of Credit for William R. Moore, Inc. after 34 years. Surviving Mr. Jeffery are his wife, Gloria Hineman Jeffery, James C. Jeffery, II (Pearl) of Grand Junction, CO, two grandchildren, Wyatt and Haley; and his siblings Henry Jeffery and Mary Ellen Buche both of Birmingham, AL. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 2:30 3:30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Park. Entombment will be at the Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family requests that memorials be sent to Central Christian Church, the American Cancer Society, or the Memphis Food Bank.
