James Jamison's Obituary
James Perry Jamison, 83, of Memphis, retired heating contractor, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at St. Frances Hospital. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated from The University of Memphis. He was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in the death by his wife June Fulgham Jamison. He is survived by his brother, Renny (Patricia) Jamison, of Valrico, Florida; his daughter, Ginger Jamison; and sons, David Jamison and Jay Jamison of Memphis. Other loving family includes Dixie (Maury) Knowlton, of Cleveland, MS; Michael (Dyanne) McCloskey and Erica McCloskey Dunham of Madison, AL; Patrick (Judy) McCloskey and Suzanna McCloskey of Memphis. The visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 24 also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers any memorials be sent to Highland Heights Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
