James Ernest Honaker, age 72, was born in Grundy, Virginia and moved to Memphis as a young boy with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry, and their children, Billy (Angie), Tricia (Andy), Angie (Chad), Bubba, Daniel, Curtis, and Jamie, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 1 on the way, 2 brothers, Eddie Honaker and Jessie Crabtree (Tina), 4 sisters, Edna Moffitt (Frank), Phyllis Swinney, Faye Richardson (Jeff), Kelsie Loar, 2 great aunts, and 1 great uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, 3 sisters, Cassie, Hazel, and Debbie, and 3 brothers, Lloyd, Carl, and Dale.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Where Memphis comes to remember, since 1924.”
