Dear Peggy, I am so very sorry for your loss of James. He was a wonderful man. I know how much you will miss him. May God be with you and comfort you
Hi Peggy,You have our sincerest sympathy in the passing of your husband James – you described him to us in your first message to the Giant Cell Arteritis Support Group in August of 2011, after you had already endured 4 years of illness with GCA: “My husband has been fantastic. He is a former NFL player and knows pain….has had to take prednisone himself and is trying to keep my spirits up.” He will be missed by you and your loved ones! James, you and your family are in our prayers.James Rupp, co-moderator of the GCA Support Group
My fondest memory of James occurred when James was at Ole Miss and I was about 6-10 years old. James came by the house at Christmas time to visit our family and he sat down on the floor to play with me and my new train set. How special that was, to have an Ole Miss football player play with me and my new Christmas present. My family sends our condolences. Aunt Reba Hatch, Walter, Peggy and Jennifer Hatch
