James "Jim" Hal Hart's Obituary
”Jim” was a man born with a quiet spirit. He was a loving husband, father to four children, and beloved “Granddaddy” to six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He passed on Friday January 11, 2019, surrounded by the love of his life of 52 years Judith S. Hart, and his four children, Kimberly Hart-Eisenlohr, Scott Hart, Michelle Waddell, and Julie Hart-Smith.Jim was a humble man, a quiet man of honesty and integrity that never asked for, wanted, or expected credit. An airline pilot, a husband and a father, he was beloved by all that met him. He was a loving husband, an amazing father and an amazing grandfather. He was a dear friend and an incredible example of a God-fearing man to all that would accept it. He was a Godly man that wished to remain in the shadows, but whose light for goodness blinded all of us who stood as close as we could. If nothing else can be said about a man, he loved his family and friends and was beloved! He will be so missed! We love you Daddy!High FlightOh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds … and done a hundred thingsYou have not dreamed of …wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence.Hov’ring there, I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I’ve topped the windswept heights with easy graceWhere never lark, or even eagle flewAnd, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trodThe high untrespassed sanctity of spacePut outmy hand and touched the face of God.John Gillespie Magee Jr.
