As I would be driving through Palm Springs every few weeks to visit my dad before he passed away, I would call Jamey to chat, he said he always liked that area. Jamey would call often, and I always looked forward to, and enjoyed our chats. I’ve since driven through Palm Springs many times, and instantly Jamey comes to mind. He will only be a thought away, and I cherish the memories made with him and his loving family. May he rest eternally with the angels. God bless you all

It’s been several years since we last spoke, but that is how it was for us. No matter how long between conversations, we could always pick up right where we left off. Everyone needs a friendship like that. I remember all of those nights when we were barely teenagers and we would “talk” on the phone. Talking pretty much consisted of you playing your guitar- remember?! As we grew older our conversations changed; there was a little less guitar and a few more spoken words! You spoke to me about your incredible family and how much you loved them, as well as all of your future plans. You made quite the impression on me, James Griffin! My heart is heavy as I write this and I am so saddened to have to say goodbye to you. Always and forever, Ashley

I’m my heart, always.
My boy, I wish I could give you & big hug & tell you I love you one more time. I will always treasure your last words to me. Mom
Jamey always had a way of making things funny even when they weren’t! I will always remember him laughing at the silliest things and how he always was sure to say “I love you!” No matter what. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and always always ALWAYS had music on, whether just listening to Dad’s and reminiscing or playing his originals. He loved to sing and loved to laugh. I know he is having a blissful reunion with Dad and all our other family and friends we’ve lost. Love you bro!!!
