James Earl Gibson's Obituary
James Earl (Jimmy) Gibson, 83, was born December 8, 1939 to Earl and Mary Patrick Gibson at Arkabutla, MS and died June 24, 2023 at Olive Branch, MS after a short illness. He is survived by sisters Mary Ruth Gibson of South Hutchinson, KS and Margaret Norton and husband Glenn of Horn Lake, MS and brother Robert (Bobby) Gibson and wife Harriet of Lindale, TX. And numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas Gibson. Jimmy graduated from Arkabutla Mississippi High School in 1957 and Northwest Community College in 1959. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 – 1965 and retired from Kimberly Clark Company after 30+ years. He was a member of Arkabutla Baptist Church of Arkabutla, MS. He loved playing cards with his Kimberly Clark friends and loved his country music.
