James Franklin Rea's Obituary
James Franklin Rea, 75, passed away October 15, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served his country in the United States Army for 21 years. James also worked for the United States Postal Service, retiring from there, and was also an accomplished Saxophone player. James is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cathey Rea; 1 daughter, Leslie (James) Hodges; 1 son, Michael Rea; 2 grandchildren, Joshua and Aaron; and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm, Thursday, October 19 followed by funeral services at Memorial Park Funeral Home.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
