James E. Farmer's Obituary
James Farmer passed away February 8, 2024, at his home that he shared with his wife of 40 years, Connie Farmer.
James was born to James and Gertie Farmer. A dedicated professional, James excelled in the insurance industry for the entirety of his career. Beyond his career, James was a devoted family man. His family was his pride and joy, and he always made time for them, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
Those who will miss James the most include his beloved wife, Connie, his sister Barbara (Cliff) and his cherished daughters Rachel (Chris), Amanda (Alex), and Rebekah (Brandon), his 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild that lovingly called him “Pappy.” James is now reunited in heaven with his parents, sibling Carolyn, and other loved ones who have passed away before him. James will be remembered for his commitment to his family and friends, love of our Lord Jesus Christ, adventurous spirit, and kind heart.
A celebration of James’ life will be held on February 18, 2024, at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery 5668 Poplar Ave Memphis, TN. Visitation begins at 2:00pm and the service will start at 3:00pm.
