James R. Edgar's Obituary
James Russell “Russ” Edgar, 50, passed away January 14, 2017. He was born November 7, 1966. He graduated from Collierville High School and attended Harding University. He was a firefighter with the Collierville Fire Department. He was a member of Grace Hill Church. He is survived by his children, Dean Russell Edgar and Caitlin Elizabeth Edgar; mother, Judy Hoskins Deshazo (Guy); father, James Edward Edgar (Noriko); siblings, Craig Jones, Jason Edgar, and William Deshazo; ex-wife, Robin Gubera (Andy); step-mother, Judy Edgar. He was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Jones. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Thursday, January 19 at Collierville First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 20 at Collierville First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the Firefighters Burn Center, 877 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103.
