James "Jimmy" Douglas Hill's Obituary
James “Jimmy” Douglas Hill, 59, of Memphis, was killed in a traffic accident on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert James Hill and his sister Dianne Elizabeth Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by his mother, Rose Marie Hill, nephews, Justin Geise and Andy Geise, great-nephew, Matthew Geise, his girlfriend, Glenna Gonzales and many devoted friends. Mr. Hill was very proud of the work he did for his employer Microport Orthopedics. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 3rd from 1pm until the time of the memorial service at 2pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Jimmy’s name to the Dianne Hill Scholarship at St. Mary’s Episcopal School, 60 Perkins Ext., Memphis, TN 38117.
